How did SpaceX launch 165 rockets in a single year?
That's one launch every 53 hours - more than all other launch providers in the world combined.
The answer
In 2025, SpaceX shattered its own record with 165 orbital rocket launches, averaging one mission every 53 hours. This accounted for roughly 85% of all American orbital launches that year. The pace was made possible by SpaceX's rapid reuse of Falcon 9 boosters - some individual boosters flew more than 20 times each. The company simultaneously advanced its Starship program, continued deploying Starlink internet satellites (now serving over 4 million users globally), and launched crewed missions to the International Space Station. No other entity - government or private - has come close to this launch cadence in the history of spaceflight.
